HELLO, I'M IAN BELL.
I'm a multidisciplinary creative with more than a decade of experience in design, branding, communication, and marketing for arts and education nonprofits.
I was raised in Portland, Oregon, and received my Bachelor of Arts in Theatre (with a minor in English) from Bennington College in Vermont. After brief stints in San Francisco and New York, I returned to the Pacific Northwest to establish a creative home base where I could apply my love for storytelling across a diversity of disciplines.
While acting and producing theatre, I studied graphic design at the School of Visual Concepts, and went on to earn multiple marketing certifications from Seattle Central College.
The unique breadth of my experience in design, marketing, and theatre is unified by my expertise in narrative and branding, creative problem-solving, structured workflow, analysis-driven strategy, and iterative collaboration. These qualities are inherent to the sampling of designs you'll find in my PORTFOLIO.
